- Hours: The Seattle Aquarium is open daily, 9:30am–6pm. Last entry at 5pm; habitats close at 6pm.
- Weather: The Aquarium has many spaces with open airflow. Your visit will include both indoor and outdoor spaces. Please dress for the weather or bring layers to maintain your comfort as you explore.
- Water bottles: Touchless water-bottle-filling stations are available throughout the Aquarium.
- Food: The Seattle Aquarium café on Pier 59 is open daily. Outside food is not allowed in the café. Bottled beverages and select snacks are available for purchase in our gift shops.
- Zero waste: The Seattle Aquarium strives to send no more than 10% of our waste to landfill. You can help us reach this goal by recycling and composting correctly when visiting. Please do not bring disposable items with you to the Aquarium. Instead, bring snacks and other items in reusable containers and take those containers home with you. More information on our goals is available on our regenerative dashboard.
- Flash photography and phone flashlights: Flashing lights can disturb the animals in our care. For their safety, please refrain from taking flash photos or using lights such as those on your mobile device near our habitats.
- Accessibility: The Aquarium’s habitats and restrooms are wheelchair-accessible. Wheelchairs are available to check out at Guest Services in both Pier 59 and Ocean Pavilion on a first-come, first-served basis. The Aquarium is registered as a certified sensory-inclusive facility. Please visit our Accessibility page for more information on wheelchair rentals, sensory inclusion and more.
