Media advisory: Diving Santa returns to the Aquarium!

WHEN: Friday, November 29 at 11:30am. Members of the media are encouraged to arrive at 11:15am for the 11:30am dive.

WHERE: Seattle Aquarium, 1483 Alaskan Way, Pier 59, Seattle, WA 98101

WHAT: Come to the Seattle Aquarium and get in the spirit for the winter holidays! See Santa diving in the 120,000-gallon Window on Washington Waters habitat. Bring your camera and take your picture with Diving Santa every weekend between November 29 and December 24.

You can find Diving Santa at the Seattle Aquarium on the following dates and times:

• Special kickoff shows: Friday, November 29, at 11:30am and 2:30pm 
• Saturdays and Sundays: From November 30 to December 22 , at 11:30am and 2:30pm
• Members-only Santa dive: Sunday, December 15, at 9am 
• Special final show: Tuesday, December 24, at 11:30am 

When not in the water, you can find Santa on the dry side and ready for a festive photo! Santa will be at the viewing window near the left side of Window on Washington Waters every Saturday and Sunday from November 30 –December 22, plus November 29 and December 20. A professional photo of you and Santa will be available for purchase thanks to our photo partner, Photogenic.

Visitors to the Seattle Aquarium and the Ocean Pavilion expansion can also explore several other habitats seeing colorful local and tropical fish up close, as well as seals, sea otters, shorebirds, jellies, tide pool animals, and more. We’re open daily, 9:30am–6pm, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas:

• December 24 hours: 9:30am – 4pm, with last entry at 3pm.
• December 25 hours: 11:30am – 6pm, with last entry at 5pm
